The Skatium did a great job!

Just to let you know how Todd looked. Well, he looked FANTASTIC! Todd's hair was just fabulous!

Just before the Show started, I saw Richard Callaghan walk past us to go to his seat, he was of course at Center Ice. I didn't take any notes during the show, it was just too hard to move around in your seat.

The Show:

Larisa Spielberg & Craig Joeright- I love this couple! They are very well matched. Their skate included some really nice lifts, great spiral, they have lots of speed on the ice. Might I add that Craig is really good looking! LOL

Jenny Kirk-Jenny had her hair down in her first performance, she's a very pretty girl. She looked a little slow, she did have a hand down. The rest of her jumps were lovely.

Vladimir & Oleksiy (Acrobats)- This is a new program, they were wearing lighted hard hats. A lot of fun move and jumps. I liked the music, the audience gave them a nice response and the end.

Evan Lysacek-Bocelli number, can't think of the name. He had a flowing shirt and black pants. Evan skated well, just a few mistakes. He covers the ice very well from end to end. He did a couple triple Jumps, which include a nice triple lutz.

Nicole Bobek-Abba Medley-She wore her sparkly blue two-piece outfit, she had her hair in a ponytail. Nicole's first jump was a double axel, she singled it. She did a nice double toe in the corner. As the music changed she started clapping her hands and the audience joined in. She did an absolutely beautiful spiral.

Todd-Channel One Suite- What can I say? Todd had a wonderful skate. He had a hand down on one jump. The footwork section might have been a bit slow. Todd's spins were spectacular! His Final spin was just a blur. Loud applause from the crowd, but just a few of us stood up at the end.

Yuka Sato- She had her hair pulled back and down, her hair is at shoulder length now she is so beautiful, from what I can remember she had a wonderful skate.

Intermission- I stayed in my seat, but my husband went outside to get some air and to smoke a cigarette. Well, he did it to me again! At the 2001 Nationals in Boston, He left me at the arena to go for a cigarette break and he bumped into Todd in the concourse area.

Last night, he came back to his seat and said. Guess who I just talked to? I said. Who? TODD! I said, No Way! He said he saw Todd standing in a doorway, so my husband went up to Todd and shook his hand and said. Hi Todd how you doing? Todd said, "I'm fine". He told Todd you won't remember me but I've met you 2 times before, at 2001 Nationals and at the Olympics. He smiled and said, "Oh really". Then they called Todd back in to pose for photos. I'm convinced my husband is a Todd magnet!

Jenny Kirk- She skated to Chicago- She had her hair in a ponytail this time. She did have a fall in the corner, but completed the rest of her jumps. She has a really beautiful layback spin!

Evan Lysacek-Desert Rose- A much better performance. Landed all his jumps, he did a clean triple lutz.

Yuka & Jason- They were so awesome! The lifts are just beautiful, they look so good on the ice. No problems with their jumps. Yuka did a beautiful throw jump! WOW!

Todd-Misere- Todd had the see through black shirt on instead of the white one he's been wearing. An absolutely beautiful performance. I love this music! His first jump was a triple axel, triple toe, triple loop, he did double his last jump. His spins are just so amazing! He finished his final spin right in front of me! What a thrill!

Curtain Call- All the skaters came out one at a time, did jumps or spins. Todd came out last and did a spectacular triple axel right in front of me! WOW!

Autograph Session-Yes, I stood in line for Todd's autograph, and the rest of the skaters.

I made a photocopy of my question Todd answered from SOI ask a skater a question and took it with me. So when I came up to Todd, I handed him my photocopy and I said Todd you answered my question from SOI. He asked me. "Which question was that"? I told him the question about his dancing. He laughs, and reads the question and says, "Oh yeah my dancing" Then he said. "That was an interesting question"? I told him I was serious, I think you are a fantastic dancer. He laughed again.

By the way at the autograph table, Todd was wearing a maroon shirt, I was wearing the same exact color blouse. Woohooo!

Well that's about it! I had a great time!
