Wednesday, November 3 - Men's Practice Report

The good news is that Todd is here in Saint John.... The not so good news is that he was planning to arrive on Tuesday, but due to uncooperative weather conditions, he wasn't able to leave as scheduled and ended up having to depart in the wee hours in the morning and just barely made it to the arena in time for his afternoon practice session. Whew!

Todd did surprisingly well considering all the travel hassles. He did a partial run-through of his short program (Cabaret). He effortlessly landed a 3 Lutz - 3 Toe. Also landed a 3 Loop and two 3 Axels. No fuss, no bother. He was third to run through his program. He didn't do a complete run-through, he landed a 3 Lutz-2Toe, 3 Axel. He also did a 3 Loop out of footwork. He spent some time working on a 3 Flip. He muffed a few tries but finally landed one. After his run-through, he worked on some elements for his free skate, lots of new choreography, very exciting. A wonderful coming attraction for Saturday
