Hallmark Skaters' Championships - 12/14/02

Quick update on Hallmark short programs here.

Todd skated to Freedom Battle. He did a 3axel-2toe, 3lutz, 2axel. Plus the usual compliment of fast spins. Footwork was different from last week though, the straight line footwork is no longer the Carmina footwork but is something new. The program is really good, but I think it doesn't build really well music wise:

Tech: 5.5, 5.6, 5.5, 5.6, 5.6

Pres: 5.7, 5.7, 5.6, 5.7, 5.6

Weiss was really on - his SP is Metallic and Van Hallen. Landed a huge quadtoe-3toe, 3axel, 3lutz.

Tech: 5.7, 5.8, 5.7, 5.8, 5.8

Pres: 5.8, 5.8, 5.8, 5.8, 5.7

Yags: 3axel, 3flip-3toe, 3toe. He's obviously hurting but it's a fun program and he really sells it. Not quite as good at the Canadian Open.

Tech: 5.6, 5.6, 5.5, 5.6, 5.

Pres: 5.9, 5.9, 5.9, 5.9, 5.9

Honda: Fell really hard on the quad and the axel, but did land the 3lutz. Unfortunately the program fell apart really

Tech: 4.7, 5.0, 4.9, 5.1, 4.8

Pres: 5.6, 5.6, 5.7, 5.6, 5.5

After the Tech: Weiss, Yags, Eldredge, Honda
