Practice sessions on the day of the men's free skate were relaxed, with Todd practicing only a short while before leaving the ice to rest up for the Men's Final. By the way, although CTV coverage of the Men's Final did a short piece on Alexei Urmanov's spill out of a quad attempt during practice, they didn't show the numerous successful quads, nor the beautiful quad he landed immediately after the fall.
For today's exhibition performance at the Copps Coliseum, Todd skated to This is the Moment. Fox has not announced an air date for these exhibitions skates, and it may be that they will not air them, especially since they did not air the exhibitions from last year's final.
During this morning's practice, Todd did a choreographic runthrough of This is the Moment, then spent the rest of the practice session working on his short program. The 1997 Worlds Qualifying Rounds are in two weeks, after all!
