The arena was pretty full and the crowd was pretty responsive which surprised me since Anaheim is usually kinda blah. The show was pretty clean, and I don't remember anyone falling, but there were a couple step-outs. Our seats were decent, we were center section, about 20 rows up, but not as good as the seats we got for next year, second row in the section right off of center.
Todd was awesome; he hit everything. The triple lutz was leaning forward, but he managed to hang on. It was the first time I had seen 1492 live, and I was impressed. I already was in love with the program, but I love it more even now. The choreographic details are wonderful, and I love what Olga has done for him. He was the only skater to receive a partial standing ovation, which of course was well-earned.
The finale was great, though I liked Bolero better. Of course I didn't get to watch a lot of it, since we were distracted by watching Todd the whole time. I spotted him right away, and he was right by us the whole time. We were cracking up over all of his little gestures. Speaking of cracking up, we were hysterical watching Todd try to dance in the opening number. For someone who is excellent at interpreting music and hitting something on the right beat, that boy has no rhythm.
